The GoEtiCA Project is primarily focused on issues related to governance of research ethics, prioritization and oversight: the expedited research review pathways approach to ethical and regulatory review and community engagement in the context of public health emergencies.

The project explores issues related to collaboration, data and sample sharing, biobanking, research and innovation using clinical, epidemiological and surveillance data, and research methods and results.

An Online Participatory Event Series

This program of participatory events aims to present the objectives and methodology of the GoEtiCA project and describe the conceptual framework of national health research systems and the main international ethical standards applicable in public health emergencies.

The GoEticCa team formally invites:

  • Government authorities responsible for Science, Technology and Innovation and International Cooperation.
  • Members of National Bioethics Commissions and Councils.
  • Members of Research Ethics Review Committees.
  • Researchers in the health sector.
  • Representatives of community groups and organizations.
  • Experts in bioethics and research ethics.
