    My names are Joseph Mutale a Medical Laboratory Technologist from Zambia, currently working with the Ministry of health at Kabompo District Hospital. I look forward to contributing and been part of this working group as we try to improve our Health systems in the response to COVID-19 and and the impact it has on other conditions

    My name is Ohia Chinenyenwa M.D. from Nigeria. I am part of the Working Group (WG) coordinating team. I am a I am a public health lecturer, researcher, consultant and monitoring and evaluation expert. My core areas of research are environmental health; infectious diseases (malaria, TB, HIV and COVID-19) management and control and recently Universal Health Coverage with emphasis on digital health interventions and adoption in LMICs.

    I look forward to robust conversations here that will culminate into building multidisciplinary networks for collaborative researches that have direct impact on strengthening LMICs health systems and their dynamic responsiveness to emerging challenges.

I recently completed a Doctor of Public Health with my doctoral research focusing on the impact of health system reforms on vaccine systems in UK and Kenya. Looking forward to working with you to unlock the health system challenges in LMICs.

With Over 10 years’ experience in health research projects in LMICs and supporting projects research design and training in health research systems.I hold a Bsc in Information Technology(Kenya).Higher/Diploma in Management of Information Systems(UK).I am looking forward to sharing ideas and contributing to understanding health system challenges in the pandemic especially in Africa and Global environs.
    My strengths and experience in Research and Data management will go a long way in
    assisting the WG initiative to achieve its objectives in health systems solutions in LMICs.

    My name is Dr Oscar Tapera , I am part of the WG coordination team. I am a public health research and evaluation expert based in Zimbabwe. My research interests are in health systems strengthening, health policy, social determinants of health, cervical and breast cancer, infectious diseases (malaria, TB, HIV/AIDS, COVID-19), digital health and impact evaluation of health interventions LMICs. My career objective is to provide evidence-based public health solutions to problems affecting LMICs. I hold a PhD in Health Systems, MSc Degree in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, MSc in Development Studies and a BSc(Hons) in Medical Laboratory Sciences. I am envisaging to network, share ideas and resources, collaborate and work together with like-minded public health researchers/specialists across the world to solve problems affecting our nations in the contemporary COVID-19 context. I am excited about this WG initiative as it provides a platform to network and collaborate with other researchers and experts across the globe. I believe that we are presented with a life-time opportunity to leverage on each others' skills, experiences and resources to solve problems that are dogging the whole world given the COVID-19 pandemic that has wrecked havoc even in the most developed countries with robust health systems.
